Arthur L. Vellutato, Sr. founded VAI in 1981, with the challenge to develop simple and concise solutions to common problems experienced within clean room operations.
Applying his many years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry to finding alternate methods for established industry practices, his leadership of VAI has resulted in a continuous stream of successful products. If one word were synonymous with VAI, it would be "Innovation".

Produced disposable garments manufactured in a clean room environment from beginning to end, assuring the cleanliness of the final product. |

Designed the first microbial air sampler that could be completely sterilized the SMA. |

Developed DECON-AHOL, the first 0.2 micron filtered alcohol that was irradiated sterile in a non-aspirating aerosol spray container and bulk containers from 8 oz. to 5 gallon. |

Developed the first sterilized disinfectants, and sporicides that were filtered at 0.2 microns and packaged into unidose and bulk containers. |
